Florensa Haxhi, PhD

Florensa Haxhi is a senior expert specializing in economic development, investment strategies, national
strategic programming, and fostering start-up and innovation ecosystems, with a particular focus on
technology-driven initiatives, such as the establishment of the first Science & Tech Park in Albania,
Durana Tech Park, where she was recently appointed as the CEO. She has been the Director for Economic
Development Programs at the Prime Minister’s Office and the Business Development Officer at the
Albanian Investment Corporation (AIC), where she has led the designing of sustainable business models
for AIC pipeline projects. Florensa integrates the strengths of both the public and private sectors to
optimize the value of state assets, driving economic growth for Albania.
